Professor Stan Sidhu is a Professor of Surgery and Head of the University of Sydney Endocrine Surgical Unit at Royal North Shore hospital, St Leonards. He is an specialist and an academic endocrine surgeon practicing within the Northern Sydney and Central Coast Area Health Service and Coffs Harbour in the Mid North Coast. He is also The Professor of the University of Sydney Endocrine Surgical Unit.
With vast experience as an Endocrine (thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal) surgeon, Professor Sidhu specialises in minimally invasive (keyhole) thyroid and parathyroidectomy and keyhole adrenal surgery utilising either laparoscopic or retroperitoneal endoscopic access for patients with small functional adrenal tumours. Open adrenalectomy and retroperitoneal lymph node surgery is undertaken for adrenal cancers and malignant phaeochromocytoma. Patients with salivary gland tumours are offered parotidectomy and submandibular gland resection plus neck dissection if required.
